My conscience felt bad about teaching how to say "HAMBURGUESA" and not mentioning vegetables. So this time we spoke about good and bad food (BUENO y MALO). It turns out your children know very well what is junk food and what's not. Some doubts aroused around nutella sandwich since bread supposed to be the good thing but teacher Kat helped us out.
No doubts about Peppa Pig. She rulez and eats healthy VERDURA.
This time we have learnt how to sing Happy Birthday in Spanish (some of us already knew that song!)
We have recorded this song and our short presentations for Ricardo, a Spanish boy who just turned three. Also, we made birthday cards for him with birthday words that are Cumpleaños Feliz, globos (baloons), regalo (gift) and tarta (cake :).
Today we were learning how to present ourselves. Our goal is to be able to say name and age like in the video below and answer questions. Children are a bit shy, so next week I'll try to make "radio interview" with them. After the class I'll delete files.
We have also learnt some new colours presented by Peppa:
Thank you for encouraging children to watch videos on the blog, it really helps!
This is how we learn to count till 10. Don't be shy, humm along!
You can practice counting the fun way with one of the most popular children's songs in Spain.
Here's a video with subtitles, and our point at the moment is just to count the elephants, let's not worry about the whole text. We play as if we are elephants swinging on an invisible web adding one by one as many elephants as we can get. The last one breaks the web (and everybody ends up on the floor, obviously ;).
I would like to recommend you free application for Android,
Aprender Jugando is a great app to learn basic Spanish. It is good for preschoolers but also for bigger children.
